Yorkshire and Humber projects praised

Community projects in the Yorkshire and Humber region that have sustainably transformed neglected land were praised by green spaces minister Baroness Andrews this week. Launching the Living Spaces scheme's annual report, Andrews noted that £1.6 million has been awarded to 71 projects in the region. Local groups use the funding to revitalise public land.
