Charlie Parker to join private sector

Charlie Parker, Liverpool City Council's executive director of regeneration, resigned last week and is joining the private sector. While at the authority Parker was involved in plans to turn Paradise Street into Europe's largest retail regeneration project and housing market renewal efforts in the city. He will join Lancashire-based company Enterprise, which specialises in development support services.
