Transport planners should take a lead

Transport planners should take a lead in promoting physical activity, according to a report this week.

The study, by sustainable transport charity Sustrans, claims that although physical activity is proven to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, car dominance in many urban areas discourages activities like walking or cycling.
