Planning regulations issued by the ODPM

Planning regulations for the installation of antennae including satellite dishes have been issued by the ODPM. The guidance aims to allow households better access to digital and broadband services. All types of microwave antennae including MESH and wireless equipment will be subject to the same permitted development regulations. There are restrictions on the number, size and location of antennae and requirements for their siting to minimise the visual impact on building exteriors.
