Plans to develop the Memorial Stadium

Bristol Rovers Football Club has announced plans to develop the Memorial Stadium into an 18,000-seat ground. The £16 million redevelopment would be funded by 114 student flats. The club is seeking to allay concerns over car parking by only allowing students who will not base cars there. It has vowed to give residents a say in decisions on the community facilities to be included in the scheme if it is granted permission.
