MKP launched the bid to find a partner

MKP launched the bid to find a partner earlier this year. A final selection is due to be made by the end of the year. Plans to move the Eastway Cycle Circuit to a site in Enfield to make way for the Olympic Park development were unveiled by the London Development Agency last week. The circuit would be relocated to Rammey Marsh and then reinstated at the Olympic Velopark following the 2012 games. The plans were welcomed by British Cycling, which is looking at maintaining the Enfield cycling facility beyond the Olympics. The proposals will be put before the London Borough of Enfield.
