Masterplan to be drawn up for WWII air force base in Surrey

A masterplan to redevelop a Second World War air force base in Surrey is to be drawn up by architects Pollard Thomas Edwards. It will set out a vision for a 250ha mixed-use development at Dunsfold Park near Guildford. Dunsfold Park Ltd, a joint venture between Rutland Group and the Royal Bank of Scotland, aims to improve business space and provide leisure facilities, parkland and affordable housing. The consultancy team is led by Strategic Planning Advice Ltd and includes Land Use Consultants, Roger Tym & Partners, Mott MacDonald and Jacobs Babtie.
