Chapelfield shopping centre opens its doors this week

Norwich's £275 million Chapelfield shopping centre opened its doors this week. The 50,000m2 centre, which developer Lend Lease claims will be the biggest to open in the UK this year, is built on the 4ha site of the former Nestle chocolate factory on the outskirts of the city centre. Anchored by a 13,000m2 House of Fraser department store, the scheme also includes 80 shops, 17 cafes and restaurants and 118 flats.
