Plans submitted for the Longbridge Technology Park

Detailed plans for the 23ha Longbridge Technology Park, which is being created on part of the former MG Rover site, have been submitted by St Modwen Developments Ltd and Advantage West Midlands. In the first phase, two buildings totalling 7,221m2 are planned on the former north works car park. Subject to consent, St Modwen anticipates that construction will begin in late autumn with completion expected next summer. Chairman Anthony Glossop said: "It is good to see real progress being made on regenerating Longbridge so soon after MG Rover's closure."
