Proposals to build a footbridge over east London's River Lea

Proposals to build a £3.5 million footbridge over east London's River Lea came a step closer last week after the London Borough of Newham approved Leaside Regeneration's application for an adjoining footpath. The walkway will link residents in Leamouth to Canning Town Underground station and ensure that the Leamouth footbridge, which has planning permission, is accessible.
