Watney Mann plans submitted

Plans to create more than 300 homes and around 400 jobs on the former Watney Mann brewery site at Stockwell Green have been submitted to the London Borough of Lambeth. Bandvalley Ltd hopes to redevelop the site with buildings featuring shops on the ground floor, flats above and an underground car park. Two internal courtyards will provide leisure space for residents. The 1960s bottle store will be retained as a commercial hub with business units, studios, offices, shops, a bistro and a cafe. An exhibition will be held next month for local residents to comment on the proposals.
