EDAW to advise

Advice on major public space improvements in the heart of Belfast is to be supplied by consultancy EDAW. The work for Northern Ireland's Department of Social Development forms part of a £14 million investment programme that will take place over the next three years. Social development minister David Hanson announced the appointment last week, alongside the launch of masterplans for regenerating the north-east and north-west zones of the city centre (Planning, 5 August, p4).
