Northwest Development Agency strategy

The Northwest Development Agency has begun redrafting its regional economic strategy. The agency, which updates the strategy every three years, is looking to partners in the public, private, community and voluntary sectors for feedback on proposed revisions. The strategy proposes to concentrate on five areas - business, skills and employment, regeneration, infrastructure and quality of life. The consultation will end in September. A final draft is scheduled to be submitted to the government next March.
