WYG appointed by University of York

White Young Green (WYG) has been appointed by the University of York to work on a £500 million extension to its Heslington campus. The 70ha site should be completed by 2008 and will cater for an extra 5,400 students and 2,000 staff. The scheme will provide a further 2,500 jobs linked to the university's research departments and additional accommodation for up to 3,300 students. WYG is responsible for delivering an infrastructure design guide covering sustainability, building services and landscape design.
