Urban Salon wins competition

A competition to provide affordable housing in the capital has been won by a London-based architectural firm. Urban Salon's winning design for Bermondsey Square was chosen from 63 entries in a contest organised by the Architecture Foundation, Urban Catalyst and the Igloo Regeneration Fund. The competition was designed to promote issues of desirability and aspiration in residential planning. Urban Salon's design features large, private, environmentally-friendly flats that aim to be adaptable to changing living patterns.
