Snape Maltings scheme gets go-ahead

A mixed-use development at Snape Maltings near the River Alde in Suffolk has secured planning permission. The scheme features approximately 65 homes, numerous shops and a major expansion of the music facilities at the site's old granary and malthouse buildings, including the Aldeburgh Residencies, a national centre of excellence for music and related arts. The masterplan and development strategy for the site was prepared by LDA Design.
