Plans to revamp Middlesbrough's housing stock

Plans to revamp Middlesbrough's housing stock were put forward in a council strategy last week. The blueprint, which includes demolition in some areas, is designed to reverse housing market failure. The council will focus redevelopment in Gresham, with environmental improvements, new homes and clearance.
