Kingston Mills plans unveiled

Plans to transform the derelict Kingston Mills site in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, were unveiled this week. The development, designed by Nash Partnership, proposes a mix of housing, office space and leisure facilities on the former industrial site. The architects and developer Taylor Woodrow have consulted widely to make sure that the project fits in with the historic area. Its consultation focused on traffic, air quality, car parking, access, conservation area character and the impact of design on listed buildings. The development aims to create a focal point for the town with public spaces and job opportunities.
