Warehouse space to be created in Teesside and Sheffield

More than 102,000m2 of warehouse space is set to be created at sites in Teesside and Sheffield under plans by HelioSlough. The developer, a joint venture between Helios Properties and Slough Estates, has submitted plans to develop two units at the 84ha Wynyard One site. It aims to complete the first around the end of the year. An application has been submitted to Sheffield City Council for 37,160m2 of distribution space and a terminal at Sheffield International Railfreight Terminal. Work will start this summer and completion is scheduled early next year.
