Canalside development given planning permission

A £250 million canalside development in Coventry was granted outline planning permission last week. Located in Foleshill, the 50ha scheme is one of the city's largest regeneration projects. It includes plans for 1,500 homes, bars, restaurants and shops. The development aims to revitalise the area, currently occupied by a combination of former brickworks, a scrapyard and redundant industrial sites.
