Averley appointed

Joanna Averley has been appointed deputy chief executive of the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment. Averley, a town planner, has been at the commission since 2000. She will oversee its advisory services and continue to act as director of the enabling programme. Meanwhile, Selina Mason has been appointed acting director of design review, following the departure of Peter Stewart.
