JMP to develop strategy

A fresh regional transport strategy for the North West is to be developed by JMP Consulting to determine regional priorities for transport investment and management. The North West Regional Assembly has appointed the firm to examine potential transport schemes and produce a ranked list of priorities. The work will consider local transport plan schemes costing more than £5 million, schemes of non-national importance on the Highways Agency network and potential rail interventions.
