Reading wins plaudits from commission

A Best Value inspection report published last week awards the service two stars out of three. It describes the service as "good" with "excellent" prospects for improvement. The inspectors found that the service has enabled a range of high-quality town centre shopping schemes to be completed and has exceeded its targets for the number of homes, including affordable ones, to be built.
