Transport forecasting model to be drawn up

A district-wide transport forecasting model is to be drawn up by Atkins Transport Planning for Bradford City Council, West Yorkshire Metro and Bradford Centre Regeneration.

The model will be used to predict future demand for travel and its impact, including the effect on traffic congestion and public transport fare revenues. It will be used by the council to test alternative transport strategies for the city.
