Work begins on business park near Ludlow

Work has begun on a £2 million business park near Ludlow in Shropshire. The environmentally-friendly Eco Business Park, expected to create 200 jobs, is a partnership scheme involving South Shropshire District Council, regional development agency Advantage West Midlands and the Government Office for the West Midlands. Infrastructure work, including installing drainage, roadways, lighting, access and a park-and-ride facility, is due to be completed by the spring. The scheme's partners are seeking a developer to build and lease the first phase of the development.
