Greenwich hospital site to be homes

A former hospital site in south-east London is to be regenerated, deputy prime minister John Prescott revealed last week. Greenwich District Hospital will be transformed into 400 homes, with half earmarked for key workers. The 3ha site was acquired by English Partnerships to contribute to its London Wide Initiative, the first phase of which aims to use a portfolio of sites to deliver up to 4,000 homes across Greater London, half of which will be homes for key workers.
