Clydeside project given go-ahead

A £200 million regeneration project for a rundown Clydeside neighbourhood has been given the go-ahead last week. Glasgow City Council voted unanimously to grant planning permission for the first phase of the scheme, which will provide 1,250 homes and community and leisure facilities. Housing blocks ranging from two to six storeys will be modelled on homes built as part of the renowned Crown Street regeneration project in the nearby Gorbals area.
