Casebook: Appeal cases - Mixed use development - Tall building ruled out of character with area

A six-storey building proposed on a site in north-west London to accommodate a health and snooker club, convenience store and housing has been rejected because it would appear dominant and unsympathetic in scale. The inspector accepted that the building would not unacceptably reduce daylight to an adjacent property.

DCS No: 50227730; Inspector: Sue Turner; Hearing.
