Britain's tallest residential skyscraper could be built

Britain's tallest residential skyscraper could be built in Salford if plans for a 201m-high tower are approved. The building, proposed on a car park opposite Salford Cathedral, would house 1,000 flats and would feature a wind turbine on its summit. Developer BSC Group is applying for support from the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment before submitting a planning application to Salford City Council.
