Five developers shortlisted

Five developers have been shortlisted for a £300 million regeneration plan for Coventry. The bidders, chosen by a partnership of Coventry New Deal for Communities, Coventry City Council and Whitefriars Housing Association, are Lovells, Crest Nicholson, Taylor Woodrow, Bellway with Wates and Keepmoat with Westbury and George Wimpey. The chosen developer will regenerate parts of Wood End, Henley Green, Manor Farm and Deedmore with around 3,000 homes, a leisure centre, shops, community facilities, workshops, roads and a country park.
