RPS expands

RPS has expanded by acquiring two environmental and engineering consultancies. Kirk McClure Morton, based in Northern Ireland, was bought for £8.4 million. The company provides a range of management, environmental and engineering services in the built and natural environments. It employs around 140 staff based mainly in Belfast and will be integrated into RPS's business in Ireland. The firm has also expanded its presence in the Netherlands by taking over environmental engineering consultancy Ingenieursbureau BCC BV for £1.64 million. BCC has a strong presence in the water management sector. Based in Leerdam, east of Rotterdam, it will be integrated into RPS's business there.
