DEFRA has announced a £400,000 research programme into the impacts of climate change on key sectors in the UK. One of these sectors is planning, land use and the built environment. Land Use Consultants, in association with Oxford Brookes University, CAG Consultants and Gardiner and Theobald, will carry out the study on this sector. This research will focus on housing growth areas, with likely pilot studies identified in the Thames Gateway, Ashford and Peterborough.
