Business brief: Aedas scoops prizes

Architect Aedas has scooped two prizes at the British Council for Offices North Awards. The practice won an award for its Whitehall Phase II office scheme on the site of a former power station in Leeds. It also scooped a prize for the Bass Warehouse project in Manchester. The warehouse, built in the 1840s as an ironworks and packing facility, has been transformed into contemporary offices.
