Casebook: Appeal cases - Housing: New build. Homes approved after favourable privacy ruling

Country and Metropolitan Homes has secured permission for 39 flats in Hertfordshire after an inspector decided that they would not adversely affect the privacy of neighbours or harm the character and appearance of the area. She also granted the appellants partial costs in dealing with the council's objections on privacy and living conditions, finding that these were not supported by clear evidence.
