Revamped section of Blackpool's South Shore area unveiled

Blackpool's Southern Gateway, a revamped section of the town's South Shore area, was unveiled last week. The 1km stretch of the promenade, a key arrival point to the town, has been transformed with the installation of dramatic street lighting, a modern sculpture and a wall in the shape of a wave that features an LED display. The development forms part of a masterplan that aims to foster a fresh image for Blackpool.
