Regeneration News brief: Development in St Mary's Gate given planning permission

A prominent residential and office development in St Mary's Gate has been granted planning permission by Sheffield City Council. Permission was originally granted for the city centre scheme last year to provide flats in a 19-storey tower with a seven-storey office block on the corner of St Mary's Gate and Moore Street. But an amended application was submitted after reappraisal of costs by the applicants. The latest application is for 205 flats and an additional floor on the tower.
