Casebook: Appeal cases - Gypsies and travellers. Undisputed need agreed for greenfield quarters

The use of a greenfield site in Cambridgeshire as travelling showpeople's quarters has been allowed after an inspector agreed that there was an undisputed need for such accommodation. In arriving at his conclusion, he noted that the appellant currently lived on a site that was severely overcrowded and provided inadequate security for his family and equipment.
