Regeneration News brief: Plans for housing scheme in Deptford approved

Plans for a housing scheme in Deptford that uses glazed pods to reduce traffic noise have been approval by the London Borough of Lewisham. Architects Sprunt, working with the council and London and Quadrant Housing Trust, submitted the application. The development comprises 29 affordable and eight shared ownership apartments. The pods are designed to block noise and maximise heat and thermal capacity.
