In brief: Plans to transform Swansea outlined in action plan

Plans to transform Swansea into a prosperous and competitive city, raise its profile and improve its environment were outlined in a city centre action plan published this week. The plan says that Swansea City and County Council will develop a high-quality centre and improve links between the core retail area, the Maritime Quarter and Parc Tawe. Swansea City Centre Action Plan 2004-05 is available from Felicity Workman (tel) 01792 476370.
