Regeneration brief: LogicaCMG to create jobs

Information technology firm LogicaCMG is to create more than 750 jobs in south Wales by expanding its management services. The company has announced plans to make Bridgend the centre of its outsourcing operation, taking its workforce to more than 1,000 in three years. The company already employs 350 people in Bridgend and Cardiff and was supported by Welsh Assembly Government regional selective assistance grants and the Welsh Development Agency in its expansion.
