Regeneration News: Projects to improve common land

Projects to improve common land surrounding former slate quarrying communities in north Wales are to receive £360,000 in funding. The cash, which includes £180,000 from the EU's Objective 1 fund, will cover more than 1,000ha of land in Gwynedd. The money will be spent on a range of work including footpath improvements and conserving wildlife and archaeological features.
