BUSINESS BRIEF: PMP appointed to carry out feasibility study

PMP has been appointed to carry out a feasibility study into rebuilding Herne Bay Pier by Canterbury City Council. The study will examine opportunities for commercial uses on the pier including a casino, a hotel, bars and restaurants. It will also study the possibility of a high-speed boat service to London as well as other development opportunities in the area. The last pier on the site collapsed in 1987. PMP's team includes property consultancy Donaldsons, Marks Barfield Architects and structural engineer Yolles.
