REGENERATION NEWS: Public consultation on regeneration scheme

Public consultation on a scheme to regenerate a 12.5ha vacant shipyard at Woolston in Southampton will begin next month. The redevelopment, which will allow residents access to the waterfront for the first time in 150 years, will include marine businesses, homes, shops, restaurants and leisure facilities. The South East England Development Agency, Southampton City Council and English Partnerships have published a brochure outlining their plans for the shipyard. A planning brief will be available in April.
