REGENERATION NEWS: Reid Architecture wins contract

Reid Architecture has won the contract for the £100 million redevelopment of Bolton town centre for Wilson Bowden Developments. The masterplan is based around a central square with 2,160 sq m of retail and leisure space as well as 150 private and affordable homes. The nearby Victoria Hall will be refurbished to provide concert facilities and an 800-space car park will be built. The scheme is expected to be completed by 2008.
