NEWS IN BRIEF: A few tickets are still available ...

A few tickets are still available for this year's RTPI annual lecture sponsored by Crown Estate in association with Planning. Sir Peter Hall, professor of planning at University College London's Bartlett school of architecture and planning, will deliver the lecture on the theme of "talking the talk, walking the walk: how to make paper plans real". He will also receive the RTPI's gold medal, the institute's highest accolade, before addressing delegates. The event takes place on 18 December, starting at 5pm, at the Kennedy Lecture Theatre, 30 Guildford Street, London. Tickets are £25 plus VAT.
