A company developing a 29.2ha site on the Lancashire coast is seeking ideas from architects for the design of a pedestrian-only village. Kensington Developments has launched a two-stage competition to help it draw up plans for a £650 million tourism, cultural, business and residential development near Lytham St Anne's. The closing date for entries to the competition, which is being organised by the Royal Institute of British Architects, is 9 January 2004.
