CASEBOOK: Appeal cases - Listed Buildings - Boundary move held to harm listed building setting

An extension to the boundary of the Cotswold Motoring Museum to take in part of the curtilage of an adjacent grade II listed manor house has been rejected due to harm to historic character and a conservation area.

The inspector felt that although the change could enhance the museum, it would harm the setting of the listed manor and a 17th century dovecote.

DCS No: 42772268; Inspector: Robin Jacques; Written representations.
