IN BRIEF: Plans to regenerate Gypsy Corner

Plans to regenerate the Gypsy Corner area of Acton, west London, moved a step closer this week as the latest phase of development received the go-ahead from the London Borough of Ealing. The scheme, by Frogmore Developments, includes 398 homes, of which 167 will be affordable and delivered by Acton Housing Association. Two hotels, 34,000 sq m of commercial floorspace, community facilities and transport improvements are also planned.
