Plans for a 1,800 sq m restaurant and apartment scheme in the Calls conservation area of Leeds have been approved by Leeds City Council. The High Court development by Carey Jones Architects will see the refurbishment of a Grade II listed Georgian coaching house and a three-storey Victorian Villa, with the retention of the last remaining Georgian workers' cottages in Leeds. The development will provide eight new apartments and eight converted flats with restaurant space on the ground floor and mezzanine levels. Work on the project is expected to start early next year.
