Gove urged to update NPPF to address planning’s ‘deep-rooted’ gender bias

Some 18 organisations from across the property sector have called on the secretary of state to integrate gender “mainstreaming” into national planning policy and provide further guidance and resources to support local authorities in addressing the “deep-rooted unconscious gender bias in planning”.
